Due to the nature of 3M’s business it was imperative that they deployed an accurate and reliable Roll Call solution. They had recently implemented Kronos Workforce Central for their time and attendance solution but came across the following limitations with regards to evacuation reporting:

  • No assignment of assembly or muster points
  • Users would have to login, select the correct hyperfind, run a report and finally print the report
  • No automatic detection of fire panels
  • Did not account for visitors

These were critical requirements so, as a UKG/Kronos partner, Connected Data Solutions were introduced to 3M to see if our roll call software would be a suitable solution. After various meetings, it was decided that Roll Call would work for 3M and is now installed in thirteen sites across the UK.

This installation consisted of:

  • Multiple sites
  • Integrated into Kronos Workforce Central TM
  • Manually triggered reports via desktop icons
  • Automated reports via connections to fire alarm panels
  • Customised reports
  • Automatic assignment of assembly points
  • Visitor and employee transfers between sites
